AI lead qualification
Prepare a consistent enquiry brief so your sales team can prioritise a useful conversation.
Understand the service
What this means in practice
AI lead qualification organises what a prospective customer has actually said: the problem, location, timing, requested service and missing information. It should make the next conversation better. It should not turn a speculative model score into an unquestionable judgement about a person or their ability to buy.
Temrik can scope an inbound qualification workflow using criteria your team can explain and review. Start with explicit service-fit questions and a route for ambiguous enquiries. Keep the evidence visible, and avoid silently rejecting people based on inferred personal characteristics or information that was never supplied.

A practical workflow example
An enquiry for a site inspection includes a location and requested date but no project type. The proposed workflow records the known fields and drafts one follow-up question. The coordinator sees both the source message and the qualification summary before deciding which specialist should respond.
Proposed engagement
How we would approach the work
Agree useful criteria
Write down the minimum information needed for a next step. Separate mandatory service constraints from preferences and assumptions.
Prepare evidence-led briefs
Attach the source for each extracted field. Mark unknown values as unknown and preserve corrections made by staff.
Review prioritisation
Compare the proposed routing with human decisions, including enquiries incorrectly downgraded or missed. Adjust criteria before introducing wider automation.
Deliverables to agree in the scope
- A qualification question set and service-fit rules.
- A proposed lead brief with source traceability.
- A review plan for routing errors, overrides and missed opportunities.
Access, sample information and reviewer availability affect the plan. Any implementation, provider costs, support arrangements and acceptance criteria are agreed before work begins.
Limits worth understanding
- A model-generated score is not verified purchase intent or a promise of conversion.
- Qualification is not permission for unsolicited outreach, automated rejection or sensitive profiling.
Questions to bring to the first conversation
- What does a salesperson need before the first call?
- Can a customer correct a misunderstanding?
- Which enquiries must always reach a human?
International teams
Scope the work for your operating context.
For international enquiries, distinguish actual service availability from assumptions about location or language. Confirm the relevant business entity and sales owner before routing; keep qualification separate from any permission to send marketing.
